Our Story
EPD started in 1998 with one delivery van, two drivers, and a simple promise: when you ship with us, your package shows up on time. Nearly three decades later, that promise hasn't changed — even as we grew into a 28,000-person, 50-state operation.
Today EPD moves more than 2.4 million packages every business day through 380+ distribution hubs, 12 dedicated air hubs, and a fleet of over 12,000 ground and cargo vehicles. We're privately held, U.S.-headquartered, and run by the same operations-first culture we started with.
What hasn't changed is who we are: a U.S. courier built by drivers, sorters, pilots, and dispatchers who take pride in the packages they move. We hire directly, train rigorously, and measure ourselves against one number — on-time delivery — every single day.
